A perfect day to go fishing with Atlanta’s very own, Fabo. Teezy, Fabo and Derek “Cuz” Williams bring a mixture of down south feel and authenFcity you can’t get anywhere else. From parenthood to struggle sandwiches there was no holding back during this interview that felt more like a conversation

with some old friends catching up while doing something unconventional, fishing.


The Atlanta based rapper gained notoriety from being in D4L, a hip-hop group from the early 2000’s with the hit song “laffy taffy” that landed at #1 on the Billboard top 100 charts. Fabo is no stranger to the game, being in the industry for more than 20 years, his experience is unmatched. The Bankhead-bred rapper talks about his start growing up in the Bankhead court projects, and showing off his pen, up and down 85.


The interview shines light on how the rapper has evolved over the years and is sFll relevant in the industry. The rapper has expanded outside of Atlanta, traveling to other countries, he’s consistently shown his music lived beyond the 2000’s. Fabo is currently working on a project that is set to drop in the near future and you never know, you might see him on a stage near you.
